# SplitLight vs NailSlice

The clearest difference is ads: SplitLight at none against NailSlice's shown. NailSlice's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SplitLight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NailSlice sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SplitLight ships an update every 3 weeks, NailSlice every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
