# Onyx vs Sub Security

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Sub Security at 18.0 against Onyx's 26.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Onyx sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sub Security sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
