# NovaPocket vs Prysm

The clearest difference is update cadence: Prysm at daily against NovaPocket's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NovaPocket sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Prysm sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NovaPocket ships an update weekly, Prysm daily. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
