# Fieldnote vs Sparking Joy

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Sparking Joy at 16.0 against Fieldnote's 26.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fieldnote sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Sparking Joy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
