The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Proxy VPN at none against CHIK's 1. Proxy VPN also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). CHIK's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CHIK sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year. Proxy VPN asks for nothing beyond the download.

CHIK ships an update every 2 days, Proxy VPN fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
