# Mini Notes vs PinNote

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Mini Notes at none against PinNote's 1. PinNote's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PinNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Mini Notes asks for nothing beyond the download.

Mini Notes ships an update weekly, PinNote daily. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
