# Notes vs Sprig

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sprig at every 2 days against Notes's every 3 weeks. Notes's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notes sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Sprig sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes ships an update every 3 weeks, Sprig every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
