# Learn German vs Sprachprep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sprachprep at every 2 days against Learn German's every 5 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn German sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Sprachprep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn German ships an update every 5 days, Sprachprep every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
