# CalmTask vs Classnote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Classnote at every 6 days against CalmTask's fortnightly. CalmTask's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CalmTask sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Classnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CalmTask ships an update fortnightly, Classnote every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
