# Stacks vs Folge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stacks at every 5 days against Folge's monthly. Stacks also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Stacks ships an update every 5 days, Folge monthly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
