# Flex vs Sparsi

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Sparsi at none against Flex's 3. Sparsi also leads on ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flex sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Sparsi asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Flex against 5.0 for Sparsi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sparsi has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flex ships an update every 2 months, Sparsi monthly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
