# StepQuest vs Underfoot

The clearest difference is ads: Underfoot at none against StepQuest's shown. StepQuest's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepQuest sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Underfoot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
