# My Wanderling vs TamaShell

The clearest difference is update cadence: My Wanderling at every 3 days against TamaShell's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Wanderling sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and TamaShell sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My Wanderling ships an update every 3 days, TamaShell monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
