# Car Maintenance Tracker vs Elyr

The clearest difference is update cadence: Elyr at every 3 days against Car Maintenance Tracker's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Car Maintenance Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Elyr sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Car Maintenance Tracker ships an update weekly, Elyr every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
