# nu vs SteadyMemo

The clearest difference is ads: nu at none against SteadyMemo's shown. SteadyMemo's advantage is update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. nu sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SteadyMemo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

nu ships an update monthly, SteadyMemo every 11 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
