# Step Gazelle vs Walk tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Walk tracker at every 4 days against Step Gazelle's fortnightly. Step Gazelle's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Step Gazelle sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Walk tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Step Gazelle ships an update fortnightly, Walk tracker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
