# Sub Security vs VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Sub Security at none against VPN's shown. VPN's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sub Security sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
