# LineSpell vs Pipe Connect!

The clearest difference is ads: LineSpell at none against Pipe Connect!'s shown. LineSpell also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Pipe Connect!'s advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 8 days) and ratings volume (77 vs 12). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LineSpell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pipe Connect! sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LineSpell holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pipe Connect! has 77 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

LineSpell ships an update every 8 days, Pipe Connect! every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
