# Tally Steps vs Khotwa

The clearest difference is update cadence: Khotwa at every 2 days against Tally Steps's weekly. Tally Steps's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tally Steps sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Khotwa sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tally Steps ships an update weekly, Khotwa every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
