# VPN vs AerVPN

The clearest difference is ads: AerVPN at none against VPN's shown. VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 days). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and AerVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN ships an update every 4 days, AerVPN every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
