# VPN vs Germany VPN

The clearest difference is ads: Germany VPN at none against VPN's shown. VPN's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Germany VPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN ships an update every 4 days, Germany VPN every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
