# Sawgrid vs ScrapCut

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sawgrid at weekly against ScrapCut's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sawgrid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and ScrapCut sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sawgrid ships an update weekly, ScrapCut monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
