# setFlow Pulse vs FitNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: FitNote at weekly against setFlow Pulse's fortnightly. FitNote also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. setFlow Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and FitNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

setFlow Pulse ships an update fortnightly, FitNote weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
