# setFlow Pulse vs Cedar

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cedar at every 5 days against setFlow Pulse's fortnightly. Cedar also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. setFlow Pulse sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cedar sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

setFlow Pulse ships an update fortnightly, Cedar every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
