# Decant vs Fishogram

The clearest difference is rating: Fishogram at 5.0 against Decant's 4.0. Fishogram also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Decant's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Decant sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fishogram sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fishogram holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

Decant ships an update fortnightly, Fishogram every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
