# ThisDay vs Daily Checklist

The clearest difference is monetization model: ThisDay at free against Daily Checklist's freemium. ThisDay also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Daily Checklist's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ThisDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Daily Checklist sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ThisDay against 5.0 for Daily Checklist. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

ThisDay ships an update every 9 days, Daily Checklist every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
