# Piano Sheet vs OpenScore

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenScore at every 5 days against Piano Sheet's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Piano Sheet sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and OpenScore sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
