# Modotti vs mmbl

The clearest difference is update cadence: mmbl at every 2 days against Modotti's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Modotti sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and mmbl sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Modotti ships an update weekly, mmbl every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
