# Starlit vs TimeNote

The clearest difference is ads: Starlit at none against TimeNote's shown. Starlit also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). TimeNote's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Starlit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and TimeNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Starlit ships an update every 10 days, TimeNote every 2 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
