# DoseAlarm vs FastingKit

The clearest difference is ads: FastingKit at none against DoseAlarm's shown. FastingKit also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and device support (4 vs 2). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DoseAlarm sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.39 per month and FastingKit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DoseAlarm ships an update fortnightly, FastingKit every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
