# Remote vs TVDeck

The clearest difference is ads: TVDeck at none against Remote's shown. Remote's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Remote ships an update every 9 days, TVDeck every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
