# Aravae vs Dicta

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dicta at every 5 days against Aravae's fortnightly. Aravae's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Aravae sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Dicta sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Aravae ships an update fortnightly, Dicta every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
