# Nubox vs Mesl

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Mesl at 8 against Nubox's 1. Mesl also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nubox sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Mesl sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Nubox against 5.0 for Mesl. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mesl has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Nubox ships an update every 4 days, Mesl every 3 days. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
