# Shark Countdown vs EEMA CONNECT

The clearest difference is update cadence: EEMA CONNECT at every 3 days against Shark Countdown's every 6 months. EEMA CONNECT also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Shark Countdown ships an update every 6 months, EEMA CONNECT every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
