# War Survival vs Duck War

The clearest difference is rating: Duck War at 4.9 against War Survival's 4.5. Duck War also leads on chart position (#40 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). War Survival's advantage is ratings volume (559 vs 49) and review sentiment (45% vs 33%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. War Survival sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Duck War sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Duck War holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: War Survival has 559 ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of War Survival's written reviews are positive against 33% of Duck War's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

War Survival ships an update weekly, Duck War every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
