# Countdown Widget vs Days Until

The clearest difference is rating: Days Until at 5.0 against Countdown Widget's 4.6. Countdown Widget's advantage is ratings volume (11 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Countdown Widget sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Days Until sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Days Until holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countdown Widget has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countdown Widget ships an update every 9 days, Days Until every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
