# SoundTether vs SheetScope

The clearest difference is ads: SheetScope at none against SoundTether's shown. SheetScope also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 days) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoundTether sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and SheetScope sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SoundTether ships an update every 6 days, SheetScope every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
