# Lokia vs UCNotes

The clearest difference is ads: UCNotes at none against Lokia's shown. Lokia's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lokia sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and UCNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
