# AshPlayer vs Wakk player

The clearest difference is update cadence: Wakk player at every 3 days against AshPlayer's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AshPlayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Wakk player sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AshPlayer ships an update weekly, Wakk player every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
