# AshPlayer vs Sparklux Go

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sparklux Go at every 2 days against AshPlayer's weekly. AshPlayer's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AshPlayer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sparklux Go sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AshPlayer ships an update weekly, Sparklux Go every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
