# TamaShell vs Nymii

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nymii at every 11 days against TamaShell's monthly. Nymii also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TamaShell sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Nymii sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TamaShell ships an update monthly, Nymii every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
