# TamaShell vs Pasterium C

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pasterium C at every 5 days against TamaShell's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TamaShell sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Pasterium C sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TamaShell ships an update monthly, Pasterium C every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
