# StepLock vs StepScroll

The clearest difference is ads: StepScroll at none against StepLock's shown. StepScroll also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days) and iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepLock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and StepScroll sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
