# StreamTV Player vs Sergen Stream

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sergen Stream at every 2 days against StreamTV Player's every 6 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StreamTV Player sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year and Sergen Stream sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StreamTV Player ships an update every 6 days, Sergen Stream every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
