Some photos are worth sharing โ€” but not everyone in them wants to be seen. Blurify Faces detects faces in your photos and blurs the ones you choose, right on your iPhone. Your photos come out clean โ€” no watermark, no logo, no corner badge. Pick a photo, and the app scans it there on your device. Each face it detects shows up as a thumbnail you can toggle: blur this one, leave that one visible. Blur all of them at once when you're in a hurry. Then save the result to your gallery, or share it straight from the app. NO INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED Face detection runs on your device with a local model, so the app has everything it needs to work offline. Airplane mode, a basement with no signal, a mountain trail โ€” it makes no difference. There's no account to create and no sign-in either; open the app and start. YOU DECIDE WHICH FACES Detected faces appear as a row of thumbnails. Tap one to blur it, tap again to bring it back. Blur all the detected faces with a single button, or keep your friends visible and blur the strangers behind them. BUILT FOR MORE THAN ONE PHOTO Add several photos at once and swipe between them. Each one is scanned in the background while you work on the others, so a batch of holiday pictures is ready in seconds. Export the one you're looking at, or all of them together. ABOUT DETECTION Detection is automatic, and like any face detector it can miss someone โ€” a face turned away, half in shadow, or far back in a crowd. The result is always shown to you before anything is saved, so take a look, and use Scan again if you'd like another pass. Please check the preview before you share. ALSO INSIDE โ€ข Scan again to run detection over a photo a second time โ€ข Save to Photos or share to any app โ€ข Multiple languages โ€” the app follows your system language, or you can pick one in Settings Blurify Faces is for parents posting a school event, teachers sharing a class trip, anyone putting a crowded street photo online, and everyone who'd rather do this on their phone than in a browser tab.

About

Kakusu

Hide faces and backgrounds in photos and videos. Kakusu detects faces in photos and videos and hides them with mosaic, blur, solid fills, or stickers. Review the result and save a new copy on your iPhone or iPad. Your originals stay unchanged. CHOOSE A LOOK FOR EACH FACE Turn masking on or off for individual faces. Adjust coverage while watching the preview, from the face alone to hair and neck. KEEP PEOPLE, HIDE THE BACKGROUND Open Background in the editor to apply mosaic, blur, or a solid fill. Hide faces and the background at the same time. Background masking applies to the entire photo or full video. DRAW A MASK WHERE YOU NEED IT Add a manual mask and adjust its position and size. In videos, set its start and end times or follow a moving subject with tracking. REVIEW BEFORE SAVING Press and hold to compare with the original. Adjust playback speed to review videos, undo edits, and resume your work. Export videos up to 1080p with or without audio. No watermarks. ON-DEVICE PHOTO AND VIDEO PROCESSING Photos and videos are not uploaded to a server for face detection, person segmentation, or editing. No account is required. FREE AND PRO The free version includes ads and has no app-imposed saving duration limit. A one-time Kakusu Pro purchase removes ads and unlocks nine original stickers, including smiles, a flower, a cat, and a bear. Existing Pro owners get these stickers at no extra cost. No subscription. Use Restore Purchases to recover your purchase. BEFORE YOU SHARE Automatic detection and tracking can miss faces or lose their position, and person/background boundaries may be inaccurate. Review the entire photo or video and add manual masks as needed. Text, license plates, and voices are not hidden automatically. Longer videos need more processing time and available storage. Keep the app open while saving videos with background masking.
