# YaYDraw vs Photorealism

The clearest difference is ads: YaYDraw at none against Photorealism's shown. Photorealism's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YaYDraw sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Photorealism sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
