# Skeme vs Lesson Diary

The clearest difference is ads: Skeme at none against Lesson Diary's shown. Lesson Diary's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skeme sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Lesson Diary sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skeme ships an update every 2 weeks, Lesson Diary daily. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
