# Abstrakt vs Proref

The clearest difference is device support: Proref at 3 against Abstrakt's 1. Proref also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Abstrakt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Proref sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Abstrakt ships an update every 3 days, Proref every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
