# Khotwa vs StepAtlas

The clearest difference is update cadence: Khotwa at every 2 days against StepAtlas's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Khotwa sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and StepAtlas sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Khotwa ships an update every 2 days, StepAtlas weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
