# Khotwa vs StepKeep

The clearest difference is update cadence: Khotwa at every 2 days against StepKeep's every 6 days. StepKeep's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Khotwa sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and StepKeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Khotwa ships an update every 2 days, StepKeep every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
